Welcome to the Bar Bistro

Welcome to our fabulous Bistro. We’ve been open now for over 2-years and our reputation for cooking and serving superb food is spreading across the North of England. The bistro offers high quality traditional food served in a relaxed, informal setting and is the perfect place to meet family and friends or host a works meeting.

We have a regular menu which is packed with delicious pub favourites and puddings which are all freshly cooked to order using only the best locally sourced produce. We also have an extensive Specials Board which is updated daily and can be viewed clicking below. We appreciate your feedback so why not drop us an email!

INFORMAL DINING

Dining in the Bistro is a relaxed informal affair. With seating for 90, tables can be reserved or allocated on arrival. We do however get extremely busy and recommend making a reservation.

WELL-STOCKED BAR

As you would expect from a brewery, we have an extremely well stocked brewery bar. All of Copper Dragon’s famous ales are available and kept in tip top condition by our head brewer who is very proud of his ales!.

We have two highly-equipped private rooms available for hire by half or full day or by special request, in the evenings. Fully serviced by the Bistro they offer delegates both comfort and complete privacy.

COPPER DRAGON BREWERY TOURS

Ever wanted to see how Copper Dragon ales are brewed? Well you can by taking one of our fantastic Brewery Tours. They take approximately an hour and take you right through the brewing and fermentation process in our state of the art brew house.

Our tours start off in the Visitor Centre where you receive a short briefing about Copper Dragon and it’s origins then it’s off down to the brewhouse where every stage of the brewing process is explained by your tour guide who will answer any of your questions.
